Just curious for some Canadians whether they have been using HotSpot? It's the group of cell phone carriers (Bell, Rogers, Telus and Fido) who have agreed to provide WiFi networks in major areas or coffee shops/places of business. Brief surfing suggests it comes off your cell phone bill and such.

I'm looking to use it for downtown Toronto (Bay St) and Kitchener/Waterloo.

I've heard some of my close friends say there's a Hotspot in the Timothy's coffeeshop across from our highschool. They said it's pretty good, although they have had problems concerning their laptops' wireless connections. It's convenient and quick-- easy come, easy go.

Edit: The problems concerning their laptops was the cards themselves-- one had an Acer Aspire and the other an older Compaq model (Dun remember which one..)
