I've been using myfrenchlab.com since the semester started and everything's been going great until last weekend when I tried to sign on for an exam. I can get to the home page just fine ( MyLanguageLabs | Pearson) but when I click on the "Sign In" button, the window just goes blank (it says it's loading at the top) and after about 15 seconds it gives up and says "Internet Explorer cannot display this page". It then gives me the option to diagnose connection problems, but there aren't any.

The funny thing is that when I take my netbook to college and use their internet, the damn thing works. So I'm guessing it's a problem with the internet setup I have at home, although nothing has changed recently (I was successfully logging in up until last Thursday). We have three computers in my house (2 laptops that run wireless and one desktop that is physically hooked up to the modem) and they all aren't able to open the sign in page. Anyone have any ideas on what's going on? My router model is NETGEAR WGR614v8 if it helps.

Did you try using a different browser? Perhaps you could call Pearson's help line. Maybe they know something you don't..

When you click sign in it should open up a 'new window'? It does that for me on both FF and IE. BTW, the sites requirements states that IE and IE alone should be used for Windows systems. System Requirements

    Java enabled in IE's add-ons?

I would do a reset of IE via Internet Properties and ensure java is enabled, pop-up blocker is disabled and enable active x. Put the site in your Trusted Zone via IE properties again and lower the security level settings all the way down.

Thanks for the replies guys. I've tried Chrome, IE, and Firefox but they all do nothing. Java is enabled and is the latest version. Active X enabled, popup blocker is disabled. The site and all that are affiliated with it I typed in manually in the Trusted Sites area. I'll try lowering the security levels now to see what happens.
