No matter what I do, I always get "Local Only". On my laptop, I have a wireless modem installed, and I want another computer in the house to connect through it. I have the connecton set up for ICS, all the boxes ticked.

I have both set up to use DHCP. None of the options Vista suggests do anything.

Try setting the IP addresses manually. I've never had success using DHCP and ICS together.

Have you read through Microsoft's help pages on setting up and using ICS, starting with this page (follow the links at the bottom of that page for other info from MS on setting up and using ICS)?

Do an ipconfig/all and display it so we can see your network (wireless/Ethernet) IP configuration.
