I can't get rid of this, I actually uninstalled it and its still there. Doesn't make sense. I'm guessing its part of the normal wifi drivers or something so I'm going to try driver sweeper or something like that even though its a PITA.

The reason I want to install it is because its taking 2-3 minutes to connect to my network on this laptop with an intel 1000n, when laptops with the 3945g connect in seconds.

There should be a way to tell the My Wi-fi utility to let windows manage your network connection. Try right clicking the tray icon. I'd look but I no longer have a machine new enough to come with Intel My Wi-fi.

Apparently one can use it to create a hotspot out of ones notebook among other things, but if it slows down connecting to the network in the first place then it's pretty much pointless....

I managed to get rid of the utility and solve the 2 minutes to connect problem, but now it wont load some websites.

It seems there is no way to reinstall drivers! The reinstaller does not work and neither revo uninstaller or driver sweeper can remove the old drivers. The new drivers simply does nothing because I guess it detects drivers are already installed.

    Any help??
