Hey guys, I recently purchased an Acer Aspire 7445G notebook. It came with an Atheros AR8151 Gigabit Ethernet Controller. According to the notebook specifications, it is wifi and wlan ready. The issue is, the hotkey (Fn+F3) that turns on wireless doesn't work. I need some help on getting it turned on as I can not use the ethernet cable forever.

Erm Fn+F3 is Bluetooth I think not WiFi.

According to the quickstart guide, it is the wireless communication button. Either way, I can only connect through a cable atm

You need to have Launch manager installed and use a dedicated button that switches Wi-Fi on/off.
On top of that I don't think Aspire 7445G exists and Atheros AR8151 is an Ethernet controller, not Wi-Fi one- make sure that the device manager is showing a Wi-Fi card.

    * You should also check the BIOS to see if the WiFi is actually enabled or even there.....
    * Also, weinter; sometimes the Bluetooth/WiFi toggle key is actually the same key you just have to hold down the fn key while continuously pressing the f3 key for ex. to change/toggle between the different wireless devices.
