This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Can't get a wireless connection despite network showing up on list

    Here's what I'm loooking at:

    I have had two other wireless networks set up with different ISP's, and they all worked. The laptop is the same, and the router is the same, but for some reason, I can't get the wireless network to function. It shows up in the network list on three laptops that I tried, but attempting to connect to it proves fruitless.

    The screenshot shows some of my basic wireless settings, and I've messed around for hours now, on google, the d-link website, and some other websites trying to figure out what the deal is, but I'm getting nowhere. Any help would be appreciated.
