I'm not sure what the problem is...I remember a while back I had to change some setting that would prevent the computer from cutting off the wireless to save power when running on battery. I don't remember how I did that though :( Any ideas? I've tried everything I can think of, even asked the library's tech guy, but he didn't seem too interested

can you detect another wireless network? be sure you didnt cut off the wireless card..either FN+(insert your F1-F9 key here), or if you have a specific button for it..make sure you turn the card on.

if that is already done, then make sure your card is enabled.

also, what laptop/wireless card is this? what drivers are you using?

    pb,out.

    1. is the card on (Fn+F2)?
    2. is the library's SSID broadcast?
    3. are you able to see other networks in other places?
