I recently purchased a refurbed HP dv4000, which was able to connect to my home wireless network on the day it arrived. Now I'm unable to reconnect to it--it can't even *find* it--and I'm wondering if there could be something wrong with the wireless card. Running the "find wireless networks" wizard shows me alternately nothing or a neighbor's (secured) network, but no sign of my own.

Any ideas what could be causing this? Or suggestions on possible solutions? Thanks.

Update the router's firmware and the card's drivers. Move the router if it next to anything electrivcal.

If you LT can see other networks it not the LT. Did you hide your SSID, if so it will not show. But you can connect manually by entering the SSID and WPA info.
