My husband was given an HP Pavillion DV100 today. Although it shows that we are connected to our household network, we cannot get it to connect to the Internet. I am by no means a computer genius but I can usually muddle my way around problems. I can't seem to solve this one. Any suggestions?

It probably has a bogus default gateway set somewhere in the network card properties or soemthing. What operating system is it running?
