    Can't activate (hardware activation) my wireless card under xp

    hi everyone

    Got an old computer => hp nc6000 / Atheros wifi card ....

    basically have reinstated it to try a linux xp run

    anyway

    installed the original xp cd on it and everything is working except the bl**dy button that activates wireless lan (and the two other fast buttons: slide play and sleep mode (sorry swiss french english man who has lost the word for sleep mode)

    so i can't activate the wireless card and no one seems to be able to tell me how to this without a simple blindminded wireless activation button

    So please please help me
