    Can you change wireless network cards?

    on my inspiron 1520 i have the basic dell wireless 1390 and i was jw if u can change wireless cards and upgrade or can u just put a wireless card in the pci 54mm slot and make the motherboard use the pci slot for networking? if u know wat 2 do or if there r optional cards out there, say sumthin

    Yes you should be able to change the internal wireless card. simply turn over the notebook locate and open the compartment for the wireless card and remove and change it, or the easier option is to get an external wireless catd the the pcmcia/express etc etc port...
