Can someone help me with installing D-link WNA-2330 Laptop Wireless Network card?

I have HP Pavilion dv2000 laptop and my wireless card broke..

anyways, so i went to futureshop today and bought my self a new d-link WNA-2330 wirelesscard.

I inserted into the SD.MS/Pro.MMC.XD slot but the laptop doesnt seem to read the card at all.

No ! mark or any reactions from the computer.

I tried installing the CD as well, followed the guides, still nothing.

I have windows XP on it. It came with vista but i re-installed windows.

    What could be the problem?

You bought the wrong type of card. That card requires a PCMCIA slot; your laptop has an ExpressCard slot.
