Alright this is another grand reason why i hate the freakin Marine Corps and living in a barrack. If i understand this right i want to use channel 4 for my netgear router. I would use 5ghz but i only have a 1000bgn not the fancy 6300 :/...i will get around to getting that someday.

Channel 4 is not a good idea because it completely covered by a strong signal from SANDERS-PC network (not very neighbor friendly of him to use 40MHz channels). You have to test what's better- channel 9 with only one network but with a strong signal from Internet9 or channel 10 with no networks but partially overlapping with an overcrowded channel 11. I'd guess no 10 would be the best but inSSIDer will know better.

+rep but maybe i should just stay in 1 since the 3 or 4 other signals in 1 are barrelly coming through...they are kinda flaky signals it looks like. Also by does sanders cover 4 channels? it says his wireless thing does 2 and 6...so why does it wash out over multiple signals.
side note.....freakin gay having 18 other wireless signals flooding my room lol
EDIT:nm he cover 1-8 channels....what a jerk...i think i am going to go to his room and be like.....yea you know lol
also its looking better and better to just get the 6300 n lol. where i a trusted place to buy it so i dont get a fake.
EDIT:feel free and close this. Posting on insider forums or whatever
Can someone help me with channel slection?
