    it is clearly stated under solution highlights/specifications

    better than what? than what u have currently? it is just another wlan pci express card

    for any wireless users who r crazy about certain brand and "improved" technology

    it enables u to connect wireless to the net/network - "basically"

    any specific part of the marketing material?

    My Experience with the AR5006XS:

    2.4Ghz and 5GHz
    more range as 3945 from Intel
    more stable connection

    I had trouble with my Intel 3945 it broke up every now and then with the AR5006XS its more stable and i can see more Networks the Range is better.

    I had trouble at work with the Intel Card to stay connected. The Card disconnect but the Software said the Connection was exellent. Switsched to AR5006XS and its working fine. The only thing i can not use the Software because of the Logon. It was triggering the Log on.

    Thats why i wanted to AR5006XS its in my Eyes a better Card then the Intel 3945 i had
