    Can I use my laptop as a wireless access point for my xbox?

    I was just wondering if there was any way that i could plug my xbox ethernet into my laptop so that I can use it for wireless.

    Possibly? If you set up your laptop as an ICS. SEE HERE!

    So make sure your WLAN and LAN Cards are both enabled. In essence you would be getting Internet through wireless ans sharing it via the ethernet LAN connection. I can't say your Xbox live experience would be great though.

    gah, it's not working. When I switch it over to allow sharing, my wireless router shows up as being un-identified and although I connect to it, it says my access type is "no internet"

    Can you go into the xbox's wireless settings and define specific DNS addresses?
