    Hi folks.
I'm abroad quite often and I'm wondering if it's possible to use my internet connection from my PC at home remotely when in a wi-fi zone in a hotel? Also, I spend a couple months a year at my wife's family's home in Brazil (where I am currently) and it would be great to watch BBC programs by piggy backing on to my IP address set back in the UK. So, is this at all possible? Call me a noob as all things internet don't half get me confused

Thanks for any and all help.

Remote control software or virtual private network software should work.

If you really want simplicity, there are commercial VPN services that will provide a UK IP address so that you can watch BBC programs.

I use Strong VPN for the same issue to get to US site from Germany. They are part of Reliable Networks and have VPN servers all over the world. Thier online tech support is awesome as well. I have used it for over a year now.
