Can I use miracast if I replace my non-widi compatible laptop with a miracast certified wireless card?

I was thinking of installing my extra intel Centrino Advance N 6235 card into my old laptop. That laptop is core i5 as well but it has an old NVidia graphics driver that isn't widi compatible.

Is there a way for me to use miracast wireless display with that old laptop after replacing the wireless card? If so, are there special drivers or programs I would have to install?

    Thanks.
