Has anyone found a product that would allow me to share my Sprint EVDO broadband connection with nearby colleagues when I'm traveling on the road via a wireless router? Specifically, I'm trying to find out if anyone makes a small, mobile device that attaches as through the USB port that someone managers to piggyback off my laptop's connection.

    thanks!

Internet Connection Sharing through your WiFi.
Then someone can connect ad hoc to your laptop and access your EVDO.

OK, I'm sure this is supposed to be self explanatory, but I'm not clear at all what you mean by the reference to "connection sharing through your WiFi"...

Can you walk me through what this means?

I guess you already know this, but on my laptop I can set up a computer to computer WIFI connection and then set up internet connection sharing on the dial up connection (IE the USB EVDO modem) and have it share to the WIFI connection, and then all my other WIFI computers can connect through the EVDO modem.... I can also plug my laptop with a LAN cable into the WAN port on my wireless router, and share the connection with the LAN port and anything connected to the router can connect to the internet... To do this read the help files on setting up internet connection sharing. I have had an easy time doing it.
