    Hello helpful NR members,

I can't seem to connect to wifi, I have a notebook that can connect wirelessly.

And occasionally I'll detect a wifi connection, but can not actually connect.

    Why is that?

    Thanks!

If it's not your router, they could have protections setup to keep you out of it.

If it's wifi at a coffee shop or such, they might have a password.

If it's your own home wireless, got any details about the router, what signal level you've got, etc?
