This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Can 802.11n draft be configured to tx/rx on 5GHz?

    This Wikipedia article states that 802.11n operates on 5GHz and 2.4GHz:

    But, the user guide for every 802.11n Draft wireless adapter I have looked at states that it operates at only 2.4GHz. Does anyone know anything about this?
