I currently have ATT DSL with a 2Wire wireless Gateway. I love it. Next month I will be moving and I wanted to find a product like the 2Wire I have for Comcast. I don't want to have to buy a modem and a router because I will only keep the Comcast for 6 months. Help!

You can rent a cable modem from Comcast for about $3/month. However, you'll probably want to get a WiFi router from BestBuy though...I don't think Comcast has them.

Think of it on the bright side...you'll own the WiFi for next time you change providers.

Linksys routers seem to work pretty well, the only limitation is that you can only forward a max of 10 port ranges. And I have NEVER seen anything like that modem+router combo, looks very interesting.

comcast does offer a home wireless networking, bad news, the xtra cost of the install ($99) and monthly rent of the gateway over the period of 6 months you could purchase a cheap router. Comcast uses both linksys and netgear equip and you donthave a choice. Just rent the modem, purchase your choice of router ($30-50 online) pay for just the internet instal, plug your modem into uplink/wan port, plug your laptop into network port, config the wireless and set up your wpa key and your set. :) good luck.
