What is the best way to flash a WHR-HP-G54 with Tomato firmware? I have a new one and would like to try Tomato.

    Thanks

I would recommend DD-WRT instead, but here is the copy/paste from the installation read-me.

I'm not sure of any other way to flash Tomato other than what they have here. (I do have 3 routers here though that are flashed with DD-WRT, and I've got multiple ways to flash each).

I used the tftp flash with dd-wrt on mine, never even booted it up before I flashed it lol. Was pretty easy, just turn it on and hit send, might not succeed the first few times but it's easy.

I've gone both ways, both using tftp, and a jtag cable. It feels more like I'm doing something when I crack the case open, void the warranty, solder a connector on the board, then flash it :D
