I'm connected to a wireless connection. For some reason, many sites don't finish loading. They appear to be fully loaded, but the green Firefox circle keeps spinning around. Also, other issues such as not being able to post here using the quick reply feature and not being able to edit Facebook privacy settings when the little pop-up box shows that allows you to choose who can see what, have been annoying me.

Right now, I connected through a tunnel, SecurityKISS to be exact, and all those issues went away. So clearly, it's not an issue with the browser.

Why would these issues not show when i'm using securitykiss....but show when I'm not.

I think it has to do with my network itself or something...right?

Is the wireless network configured as a public or private network on your system? If it isn't set to a high enough trust level, then that might cause some of the symptoms you're seeing.

Might be DNS servers timing out. Look up some local, reliable DNS servers and use them.

Years back that would indicate a MTU problem, too high. Does' hurt any thing to try, just set your router MTU to 1492 and see if every thing loads. Default is 1500 (auto). But most dsl services require 1492.
