My Netgear PCI 802.11 wireless adapter's removable antenna broke....in fact, I lost the antenna.

Is there a way for me to custom make an antenna like a cantenna or windsurfer antenna? But how would I connect it to the adapter? Coaxial cable? I think it's too fat. Any advice?

You can buy them from normal stores too.
