    I have the GS70 086. Should I just get the same card or is there 1 better for around $40 or less?
    Is Intel 7265 better than Killer 1525?

    No, 7265 is not really better ans although it's somewhat slower in terms of throughput it's not actually worse either.
    If you feel adventurous you might want to look for an Intel 8260. Not that anyone can tell you if it's any good at this point but that is the most recent thing to hit the market, so if you like being an early adopter...

    If I were you I'd buy another 1525 - assuming the previous one worked well for you. Networking is not exactly a science and sometimes things fail to work properly with one another or you encounter many driver issues - so if you were pleased with 1525's performance and stability it would be easiest not to fox what ain't broken (well except you did brake it ;))

    The 2nd generation Killer AC wireless card is the N1535

    The N1525 is the 1st generation Killer AC wireless card.

    The newest Intel AC wireless card is the AC-8260

    You can also contact GentechPC,Power Notebooks and Xotic PC and ask if they have the card you want.

    If you have Network Attached Storage and transfer a lot of files on your home network then IMO the Killer cards are the ones to use.

    Be careful with what card you get. Most the older ones are PCIe mini cards, the newer stuff is all M.2 cards and are not compatible to swap between. So if your killer is not an M.2 your only options are broadcom, 7260ac or the Killer 1525...

    @Bryanu I think Killer 1525 is M.2-only as well.

    You might be right. I thought at some point in the past I remember reading they offered it in both but the other was rare. Might be mixing it up with Intel though. They generally support a few form factors at same time.

    Oh well, either way better safe vs. sorry and always good to know haha.
