I have been looking for someway to get a broadband connection for a while now, i cant get dsl or cable in my location and from what i have read satellite internet is crap. Also i have pretty poor cell coverage at my house, I can only get about one bar of cell signal if im lucky when im out on the front porch, but i was wondering if i could buy some type of external antenna to help pick up the cell signal better and then use a broadband card from verizon. Does anyone know if this could work? I really hope someone can give me some suggestions, thanks.

    Yes,
    That will work
I use an ext ant on my sierra wireless card on my boat
You just have to choose an adapter cable to go into your card , and pick an antenna.
    I use a 13.5 db directional yaggy, and a 9 db omni.
