bluetooth is just a wireless technology that allows you connect things like keyboards, mice, cell phones, some digital camera,... and yes a bluetooth headset

So lets say i add a "Dell Wireless 355 Bluetooth Internal (2.0 + Enhanced Data Rate)" for my laptop, i would just need to buy a ear piece to talk/listen to people on ventrilo/skype and no more need of using a big headset? If so what kind of ear piece would be compatible? Show me a link if you can.

Sure it would. You would just need a bluetooth headset.

You might want to be cautious here; sure you can pair a BT headset with a laptop, but you'd need to be sure the Skype software will support that or you'll get no sound through it.

Edit! Here's a link to software that claims to do exactly that.
