Your notebook came with bluetooth management software. You just open up that software, put it and the mouse into discovery mode, and then choose to connect to the mouse.
If your computer has bluetooth built in, you shouldn't really need a mouse with a dongle, though. -
Bluetooth is quite nice. I have a bluetooth mice, it's a Logitech v270. All you have to do is click the bluetooth icon on the taskbar (kind of like a B encased in solid blue oval circle) and tell it to search for bluetooth devices. Simply wait and it'll search for the bluetooth device. Bluetooth doesn't require a passkey, only keyboard, so you can uncheck passkey not required or something.
To tell you the truth, bluetooth is very useful in that it doesn't require a RF mouse, where you have an RF receiver plug into the USB, thus taken up one USB port. As I said in all of my posts, bluetooth will allow you to control up to 7 devices. -
the thing is i dont want the hassle of startup programs and would rather plug in a dongle with RF... what would you reccomend from that website that i should use??? i was a wireless mouse that is simple to plug in and use , no additional software required or anything and works like like a normal wired mouse...

So you WANT a bluetooth mouse, but you DON'T want a Bluetooth mouse? The Bluetooth service already starts with Windows if the Bluetooth driver has been installed, so it isn't like you're adding any extra startup items.

Go bluetooth! Once it's setup, you don't have to ever setup again. RF can only go short distance, but bluetooth will allow you to control up to 30 feet away; if you can still see your laptop screen that far away. hehe
But it's your call.
Bluetooth mouse , how does it connect???
