    Hello,

I just thought, since my laptop has bluetooth, speakers and a microphone, is there a way to make it act as a bluetooth headset with my cell phone? TIA!

As a general matter, yes, it is possible, although whether you can do it will depend on the hardware and software you have. As an example, read this webpage where the author describes setting up a laptop to act as the cellphone's hands-free device, and then using the laptop's bluetooth headset to actually make calls. From what I gathered from a quick googling, if you can get the laptop to be accepted as the cellphone's hands-free device, then whether you ultimately go through a separate bluetooth headset or the laptop's own audio equipment depends on your particular hardware/software.

True, but that means signing up for another service. I believe the OP just wants to run his cellphone from his laptop without having to sign up for another phone service.
