Hi, I've been having a bluetooth problem with my new Dell XPS M1210 notebook. So far I have used 2 different bluetooth mice (not both at the same time) with it and a Garmin bluetooth GPS. The mice would work fine for a couple of days or so after pairing then suddenly lose the connection. Sometimes restarting the computer would help reconnect, sometimes I would have to run the wizard again. I have tried updating the internal bluetooth drivers and software to the latest versions from the Dell support site but this didn't fix the problem. Sometimes when trying to reconnect the mouse I would have the wizard search for devices but would get the message that the bluetooth device could not initialize a search for your device. Has anyone else had this problem? Anybody have an idea for a fix? Thank you. The mice I have are the Microsoft Intellimouse for bluetooth and the Logitech V270 bluetooth notebook mouse.

yes i'm having problems as well. i have a logitech v270 bt mouse, msft bt keyboard, and logitech bt stereo headphones.

if i use the mouse and keyboard alone, everything is fine, but if I connect the headphones, the other peripherals have a hard time coming out of standby mode.

I think the problem is with the widcomm stack, I tried the bluesoleil bluetooth stack and I haven't had any more problems.

I have the V270 and the MX5000, all work fine. Sometimes, like every month or two I would have to run the wizard. I use the windows built in drivers for bluetooth, they seem to work better than the ones dell offer, at least in my case.
