    Bluetooth audio lag

    I am trying to use my laptop to watch movies on our projector screen. The video outputs to the projector fine, however for audio I am using Bluetooth speakers and that is where the problem begins. I purchased a USB Bluetooth dongle (IOGear brand) and it connects to the speakers fine, and works properly for music, however when I try to play a movie with it, the audio and video are out of sync. I used the drivers that came with the dongle, and also tried updating them through control panel. It happens both in WMP and Firefox (YouTube). The speakers are completely useless to me as long as this issue persists.

    Use VLC. There's an option to speed up or delay the audio to fix the lag.

    Can VLC stream files off of a server running WMP? I've never tried using anything else.

    Not sure, but possibly - it supports almost everything. Otherwise, see if WMP has a similar setting?
