You cannot use bluetooth to connect to the internet!!!!!! Routers allow you to access your internet connection (be it DSL or Cable) thru wired (802.3) or wireless (802.11a/b/g) network, none supports bluetooth connection.

You can still use bluetooth to netwrok 2 computers thou it is much much slower than wired or wireless, or you can use bluetooth to comunicate with a pda or cellphone or to use a bluetooth mouse (those last 3 are the most common uses of bluetooth technology)

Bluetooth is a PAN - Personal Area Network - as in, other devices connect to your computer. Can't use it for wireless internet. It is for keyboards, mice, PDA's, etc.

With a wireless card - WLAN - Wireless Local Area Network - that is how you connect to a wireless access point/router.
