I've recently received a new laptop with bluetooth and was able to use my bluetooth headset with it. While i was changing settings though to get other programs to work i seem to have broken it! basically the laptop can detect and connect to the headset although it will not transfer speaker and mic fnctions across and continues to use the laptops internal systems. Does anyone know how to configure this? I tried following Chaz's explanation via the volume control but it hasn't made any difference. Any help would be great as i wanna use it for skype. i have a zepto 2425W which is the compaq hel80.

    cheers

after much fiddling i've worked out how to link them and get them to work. i've even worked out how to make it so that media player plays audio through the bluetooth headset.

    cheers
