    BACKGROUND INFO:
I recently received my Dell D620 complete with BlueTooth. I also own a Dell Axim that is equipped with BlueTooth. I have no problems connecting the two toghether and syncronizes them.

    QUESTION:
Can I access the internet on my PDA via my laptop with BlueTooth? Are there any additional accessories/software I have to have? i.e., I would like to use my laptops internet connection on my PDA via BlueTooth.

I hope this makes sense, and I appreciate any input or suggestions. Thanks!

You're asking a good question but on the wrong forum. Copy and paste over on Brighthand.com in the Dell forum. Happy to help you there.

If you are connected through Activesync then yes. If the laptop has a connection to the Internet, Activesync automatically enables the Internet traffic on PDA.

So enable Bluetooth ActiveSync on PDA. It will sync while you can enjoy Internet. When finished, disconnect activesync.

Go to PDA Programs - ActiveSync - Connect via Bluetooth, it will start the pairing process, follow the procedure. Enter the pairing code - something like "0000". Once paired, you can use Bluetooth active sync. If you have problems with Bluetooth pairing, check the laptop bluetooth settings. Add a BT com port if you have to.

    Cheers,

    Ivan
