I currently have the killer 1103 450mbps 3x3 card in my m18x. I am just wondering what the 1200 series brings to the table as far as new features and upgrades. Any info would be appreciated so I can decide if I should upgrade.

I have the 1103 and I have Bluetooth, so is it really worth the upgrade to get Bluetooth 4.0?

Do you use bluetooth a lot and do you have bluetooth 4.0 devices.

If the answer to the two questions above is no, not worth upgrading. Note that if you're itching to upgrade for the sake of upgrading, you can always go for it.

I use Bluetooth semi-often, but I'm not sure if I have any Bluetooth 4.0 devices. What does Bluetooth 4.0 offer over 2.0?

as far as I know, there is only a 1202 so far, so it would be a 2x2 300Mbit card + BT, which would be a ~downgrade from the 3x3 450Mbit card you have. Since you have bluetooth built in, I'd say you're set.

Now, if/when they release a 1203, that will be cool...
