Looking to finally upgrade the wifi card in my Vaio Z. I found a place where I can get a new Intel 5300 half-height card but they don't sell an extra antenna. I believe I need a third to get most out of the new card. Anyone know where I might be able to pick one up?

I think the antennas are just a fancy copper wire. I used a old Golf Club as an antennas for a radio.

There is a "slight" difference- radio stations use mainly VHF band (87.5MHz-->108 MHz) while WiFi uses mainly 2400 MHz (although 802.11a uses 5GHz) and that results in significantly shorter wave length and requires more advanced antenna.
PS I know it's oversimplified- don't beat me over it ;)
