As the long title suggests does anyone here live in Switzerland who can advise me on which internet service I should purchase that allows me to use my wireless router.

I would prefer to use it as it allows me ability to run a wireless printer and backup storage also wirelessly as well as great wi fi signal strength and security.

I see alot of Swisscom all in one built in boxes. I was hoping there is a choice..

    Thanks!

I have operator provided all in one modem/router/access point. First thing I did, I disabled wlan by software and set modem into bridged mode. Rest of everything is handled by my own router.

Agreed. I have the same setup - ISP provided a device that I bridged to work as a modem and bought my own router.
Additional benefit is that the ISP can remotely update firmware and/or reboot the device - if the device in question is your router and switch as well (which it would be ) and you have NASes or similar devices on your LAN tat can be disastrous.
In my case they can only reboot the modem (this is what used to be the router before I bridged it) - but that has no effect on LAN - no computers, smartphones, tablets or NASes loose LAN connection wen it's done.
