Looking to get a wireless N router, but first I want to get a card in my old laptop that will actually be able to work with it. It's an MSI 1013 from 2005, however I'm not knowledgeable about with kind of interface it would use, and I can't find the specification on MSI's website. After cracking the laptop open and looking at the wireless card, it looks exactly the same as other 2915s that show up in a Google image search, if that helps anybody figure out it's a PCI, PCI-E, or whatever interface.

    That looks right
To confirm just go into wireless properties, it will list the card part number
If it’s an Intel 2915abg the interface is the older standard mini-pci
