I have a adsl line(Be Broadband). I require the max range possible from the router/modem. I have a 6 bedroom house with thick walls.

I have 2 Windows Laptops, 1 Mac Desktop. Xbox 360, Wii, PSP, Mobiles with Wifi.

At any one time there would be 2 computers and 1 console connected. All have N wireless card. The PSP/Mobiles are G. Sometimes there will be around 6 devices connected to internet.

Currently I am using some through wireless network and others through Ethernet. I would like to use more than 4 devices wireless at any one time.

I also would like to stream HD content from the internet or through the network from another device.

    Price range up to £160

Any suggestions whats best for me.

Just to be cheeky, I'd suggest upgrading to a higher service level of you want to be doing all of that at once, or in near proximity to each other.

I just picked up an Asus RT N16 and the range is great , better than my netgear 3700 , and the available settings are fantastic , lots of configuration capabilities on this Asus , wish the netgear had some of the settings .
The aantennas are also replaceable so might even get better range/signal

I had the Netgear WNR3700 in mind, is that the one you are referring to?

I have had a look at the Asus RT N16, Its cheaper than the Netgear WNR 3700. Whats the range like for the Asus RT N16?

rt 16n is cheaper , paid $87 at amazon , and i have wndr 3700 and rt n16
range is unreal on rt n16, and antennas are changeable . the admin gui on the rt n16 is great , many man settings that can be configured , and the logging is much better than my other routers . So far it is my favourite , just wish the enabled the 5ghz band as the chipset supports it .
I can use my comp in a neighbours house across the street . 3700 is used as AP for 5ghz band , until the day asus will unlock the 5ghz band on rt n16 .
