With wireless N being the cool thing to have, and with nothing actually being finalized yet, which is the best Linksys N router? I currently have a WRT54G, but even though that model has set an industry standard, I've become a bit sick of the disconnections it makes, and it sometimes won't forward ports properly.

    Any suggestions?

Well, did you install DD-WRT? The port forwarding on my WRT54GL (basically a WRT54G v4) back at my parents' place works quite well. But if necessary, then the best Linksys router for the money would be the WRT600N. Gigabit ports+dual band (2.4 + 5 GHz frequencies, less interference), tri external antennas(I find the new design awkward looking and the antennas being placed inside means you won't get the range you want since they're not replaceable) and storage link! Quite useful imo for sharing files. But supposedly, the WRT610N (the newer one that looks like a spaceship) performs similarly to the WRT600N. Buy whichever looks nicer to you then I guess.

EDIT: WRT610N has the same features. It's just the WRT610N has more memory/different radio/different antennas. Performs similarly to the WRT600n/

i would also suggest the wrt600n. i personally have the wrt350n with a DD-WRT v24 reflash and i am very satisfied.
i looked into those "spaceship" lookin routers with the internal antennas and read mostly bad things about those types of routers.

    p.s. - and u do have a N network adapter right?
