How good is this router? It uses implicit beam forming something which my NIC can utilize. I was thinking of purchasing this, I know it is not going to perform as well as the Netgear N750 and the Linksys E4200, or ASUS, but I want to know how reliable is Belkin I only have purchased Netgears or Linksys routers in the past. I looked at the review from smallbuilders, but I couldn't really understand it.

It's pretty good but as you said it's not the best. Some features missing from firmware are curious like DHCP reservations but than again it's not like Linksys includes this "advanced" feature ;)
For $99 it offers good 2.4GHz performance but 5GHz is appalling- 3 stream performance under good signal conditions is 33% slower than the same router using 2 streams on 2.4GHz band. What's the point of 5GHz then?

I've heard mixed opinions on Belkin's reliability. Maybe other users will chime in and shed some light on this matter.

So do you think I should return it and get the Netgear N750? Honestly it is me and my 2 TV's on the network and when I am in my room I use the gigabit Ethernet. occasionally my cell phone and maybe some friends come over. I am on the 5ghz band and I have no dead spots in my house on my laptop.

I'd leave it- it was well priced, works fine and is covered by warranty.
    No reason to replace it.

I ended up returning that Belkin because the 5ghz band kept disappearing and I would have to reset the router in order to get it to show up again and there where some other issues popping up with it. So I returned it and I now have the Netgear N750! Hopefully this one will have a lot less issues.
