Hello, im hoping for some assistance and advice... at the moment my family and I have a BT Voyager wireless router and its been playing up recently, sometimes the wireless light flashes on/off and we cant get online which is frustrating for us all! And seeing as the router is old I was thinking of investing in a new one.
I myself have a Dell XPS M1530 and have no idea what kind of wifi card it has (pardon my ignorance if i get something wrong) and I came across the Belkin N1 Vision.
Has anyone come across this router... and if so, is it any good?
I dont know what speed Im getting and if i've got this right... the screen on the router can give you this information!
Also, will there be an improvmentin speed? As our current routers old, is it possible that the new router will deliver a faster speed? The only reason i ask is, if i connect my laptop via a hard cable, i get a faster speed than connecting via wireless and as technology has improved has wireless speeds improved?
I hope you can understand what im trying to get at here, but i'd really appreciate any advice or information people have... thanks!

I perosnally like Netgear, but many savvy NBR members like Linksys. I have never used Linksys so I cannot coment on it, some people have complained but the majority are quite happy with them. The 3rd in the list would be D-Link.

Or you can try Linksys as well, many people like it and I think more people have Linksys than Netgear.

Many people have Linksys in NBR, so the advantage to get a Linksys is that you will be able to get help at NBR if you run into problems setting it up or if you mess up things in the future.

Albeit I like Netgear myself, I actually have an Actiontec because I got for free from my ISP.
