    BT HomeHub Question

    I have a BT HomeHub. Please don't laugh. It was free.

    Anyways I'm trying to open up a few ports when it asks me for a username and password. I've set a password to access the router management page but never a u/s. Is there a default one like [email protected] or something?

    9 times out of 10, the default username is either "admin" or "administrator." Start with those, but then you might need to check with BT, since they could have set a username before it left them.

    Note: alot of times they actually write a username and password on the router.

    @mattireland:

    They only write the UN/PW down if they have modified it, generally. Even then, they don't always write it down.
