I´ve just bought a VAIO CS290 to have wireless acess in my apartment with a router. I also have a desktop with a bluetooth adapter installed.

I use MSN A LOT to chat with my friends abroad and have a Motorola HT820 headset.

I´ve noticed that using my headset using the wireless connection with my laptop makes the connection really poor.

    Questions:
    1) is it better if I desinstall the bluetooth adapter from the desktop?
    2) is the connection with the wireless headset poor because I´m using wireless connection and bluetooth at the same time with the laptop?

Please help. THe main reason I bought this laptop was to chat using wireless connection and headset.

    Thanks a lot.

Try changing channels on your wireless router. See if that makes a difference on your BT headset.
