    This is apparently the card in my CR48 Chromenotebook. I'm considering cannibalizing it and using whatever card is in my Sony VPCEC290X.

    Will this work?

    Edit: It says Atheros AR9285 Wireless Adapter for my Sony.

    AR9285 is useless- it causes a lot of trouble especially if connected to 802.11n network.

    Yes, I realize that. It's why I want to put the CR48's into my Sony.

    Sorry- I got you the wrong way. There should be no problem unless there's white-listing involved which I don't think is the case here.
