I have 64bit vista. I'm in a college dorm so I use ethernet. Whenever I log into windows, I lose my network connection, and have to make the Windows diagnostic service or whatever reset my network adapter before I can connect again. Is there anyway to have my network adapter reset automatically when I log into windows?

Click HERE and follow the steps to make sure the network card is enabled in the OS itself. If it still starts up disabled then it might be disabled in the BIOS. Enter the BIOS and see if it's disabled in there...if it is change it to enabled.
