Is there a way to get a new IP setting, instead of having to diagnose the wireless and use that option there. (Without having to reset the router). Preferably a command in "RUN".

ipconfig /release
wait a sec
ipconfig /renew -
or make the ipconfig commands a nice simple .bat file is my favorite and toss it on your desktop

What news poster said. Learn to love them when diagnosing network issues.
Also "ipconfig /all" will display current settings. -
or, use a utility like netsetman and have that do the heavy lifting for you.

Cool. I'm trying out netsetman. Thanks for the replies.
