I received a new update through Windows update for my Wifi which is from Atheros AR9285 yesterday, and after updating the driver I don't get any internet connection at all. However after removing the recent and reinstalling the old driver then everything is fine and can easily connect to internet.

I had previously downloaded an update for this driver from the producers homepage and it gave me the same problem and removed it and then it began to work again.

I was wondering if there are other who use the same Wifi harddrive and driver that is experiencing the same problem as I do.

I have a Bigfoot Killer-N 1102, which uses the Atheros 9382 chipset. I use generic Atheros drivers that I downloaded from some corner of the web, and they work perfectly. I believe they were released in May/June 2011. No problems with them whatsoever.

This driver I mentioned is released in June 2011, I have contacted the producer to hear about this problem but so far no answer.
