    Hello

I got a new Atheros SR2 miniPCI card (5212A to be precise). When i tried to install the card, my laptop wont boot. If i replace the broadcom card, it starts up fine.
What could be the problem? power issues?

    regards,
    Abhi

that site is way over my head. but its good to see a workaround. I'm not impressed by the range of my current card.

which card is yours? Atheros SR2? I dont think its going to that easy. Maybe you can buy a miniPCI PCMCIA adapter and try it out?
Also I think its going to be a lot of heating because of the 400mW. Unless you really want a high power card, it i dont think its a good idea.
