I have a gateway netbook with the above wireless card. I have an 802.11n router running at 300 MBS, however the netbook will only run at 54 GBS and it will only come up in wireelss G mode.
It is my understanding that this card is supposed to run n at 300 mps. Can anyone help me with the settings to fix this?
    Thanks

Make sure security is set to WPA2+AES otherwise it won't go above 54mbps.

What frequency band does your 802.11n WAP run at ? If its a 5GHz (ie: 802.11a) mode for the 802.11n, and has a 2.4GHz (ie: 802.11b/g radio), then it will only connect at 2.4GHz.

You'll need to give more details on your specific setup if you want help.

I read it three times and still don't get it. Maybe I need coffee but could you rephrase?

I think he was asking if the wireless access point was running 802.11n on 5GHz, and 802.11a/b/g on 2.4GHz, and if so then the wireless card would only connect to 802.11g since the AR5B93 does not support the 5GHz band.
